Program Director's Welcome Letter

Welcome to the DASH program’s website. Choosing an after-school program that suits your family and your needs can be challenging, to say the least. We invite you to scroll through this website, browse through our social media platforms, and we are here for you if you would like to come for a visit to see for yourself what we do and how we do it at DASH. 

DASH is committed to offering children and young people a safe and nurturing environment that promotes physical, social, emotional, & cognitive development. We offer enrichment and remediation opportunities, we offer lots of choices, students lead activities, we mentor, we guide behaviors, and we become family. Students discover themselves, support each other, and their efforts are supported by the staff with praise and encouragement. We prepare our students to meet the challenges of their days while inspiring and instilling a passion for learning. We recognize and value each student’s uniqueness and guide them in their personal growth. 

I am passionate about education, youth development, and guidance, and I have a great love for the creative arts. I wish the world were a kinder place and I work hard every day to do my part by being the best I can be in making it just that. I dream big and encourage others to not just dream big but accomplish those dreams. I love to laugh and to have fun. I would like nothing more than to have your family join our DASH family.
